IJAES Peer Review Process

Purpose of review

Peer review aims to verify the academic value of the work, coherence of argumentation, methodological clarity, originality, writing quality and compatibility with the IJAES editorial profile.

Works subject to review

• scientific articles and doctoral articles
• academic books and applied works
• chapters in collective volumes
• theses and interdisciplinary studies
• volumes, journals or academic publications reviewed editorially

Process stages

1. submission of the work by the author through the academic account
2. administrative verification of file, metadata and author information
3. preliminary editorial analysis
4. content evaluation by the editor or assigned reviewer
5. request for corrections, additions or clarifications, if necessary
6. editorial decision regarding acceptance, revision or rejection
7. electronic publication after acceptance

Evaluation criteria

• originality and academic contribution of the work
• clarity of objectives and structure
• quality of methodology or argumentation
• coherence of results and conclusions
• quality of sources and bibliography
• compliance with academic ethics
• relevance to the declared field

Possible decisions

• acceptance for publication
• acceptance with minor revisions

• withdrawal or suspension in case of ethical violations

Reviewer responsibilities

Reviewers and editors must analyze works with impartiality, confidentiality and academic responsibility. Materials received for review may not be used for personal purposes or distributed without authorization.

Author responsibilities

Authors must respond to editorial requests, submit clear revisions and confirm that the work complies with originality, source citation, copyright and publication ethics rules.

Confidentiality

Uploaded documents, author data, editorial observations and internal decisions are handled confidentially within the functions required by the editorial process.

Ethics and conflicts of interest

Any conflict of interest must be declared. Works suspected of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, falsification, copyright infringement or academic misconduct may be rejected or withdrawn.

Review duration

The duration of the review may vary depending on the type of work, content complexity, editorial workload and need for revisions. Authors can follow the status of their work from their account.
