Instructions for submitting works

IJAES Author Guidelines

International Journal of Academic and Editorial Studies accepts academic works, doctoral articles, books, chapters, theses, journals and editorially reviewed volumes published in electronic format.

General requirements

Authors must submit original, properly written and fully assumed works compatible with the academic and editorial profile of the IJAES platform.

Accepted types of works

  • scientific articles and doctoral articles
  • academic books and applied works
  • chapters in collective volumes
  • theses, interdisciplinary studies and research materials
  • journals, cultural volumes or scientific publications reviewed editorially

Required submission data

  • full title of the work
  • name of the author or authors
  • institutional affiliation
  • ORCID, if the author has an ORCID identifier
  • abstract of the work
  • relevant keywords
  • scientific domain and publication type
  • manuscript file and, where applicable, cover image

Work format

  • the document must be readable, structured and complete
  • titles and subtitles must be clear
  • tables, figures and images must be numbered and explained
  • the bibliography must be consistent
  • reused materials must be cited according to academic standards

Language of the work

Works may be submitted in the language accepted by the author and the platform. The author is responsible for linguistic accuracy, clarity and terminological consistency.

Ethics and originality

The author confirms that the submitted work is original, does not infringe the rights of others and that all used sources are properly indicated. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, data falsification or publication without legal rights are not accepted.

Editorial workflow

  1. submission of the work from the author account
  2. administrative verification of file and metadata
  3. editorial analysis of content
  4. request for clarifications or revisions, if necessary
  5. editorial acceptance
  6. electronic publication in the platform
  7. generation of the electronic publication certificate, if the work is published

Revisions and corrections

Editors may request corrections, additions or revisions. The author must respond clearly to editorial requests and submit the updated version within a reasonable time.

By submitting the work, the author declares that the information entered is accurate, that the necessary rights are held and that the IJAES editorial policy and publication ethics rules are accepted.

Publication and access fees

Publication or access fees are displayed in the platform, depending on publication type and editorial settings. Publication may be conditional upon payment confirmation where a fee applies.

Electronic publication certificate

After publication, the author may download the electronic publication certificate from the account. The certificate confirms electronic publication without replacing the author responsibility for originality and legality of content.

Final author responsibility

By submitting the work, the author declares that the information entered is accurate, that the necessary rights are held and that the IJAES editorial policy and publication ethics rules are accepted.
